Gerald Washington is a serial entrepreneur and executive known for building  multi-state, eight-figure enterprises by navigating reinvention and turning overlooked opportunities into dominant platforms.

In 2020, at the height of the global pandemic and a moment of personal and professional reset, Gerald identified and engineered an opportunity to support a large-scale commercial cleaning initiative for the State of Mississippi’s prison system. What began as a single project quickly became the foundation for Clean & Protect Global Solutions—a national facilities management company built with speed, precision, and an eye for scale during one of the most operationally complex periods in modern history.

After stepping back briefly to reassess his long-term vision, Gerald returned with intention. In 2021, Clean & Protect was awarded its first contract with a Fortune 100 company servicing 70 locations across the Florida market—marking a decisive shift from project work to enterprise-level, recurring revenue. Today, Clean & Protect Global Solutions grosses more than $10 million annually, operating across 18 states with the infrastructure, leadership, and systems required to support complex, multi-market clients.

But Gerald didn’t stop there.

Building on his operational expertise and investment mindset, he went on to launch Momentum Capital Investments, focused on strategic investments and asset growth, and Working Smarter Consulting, where he advises organizations and leaders on systems, scale, and sustainable execution. These ventures represent the next evolution of Gerald’s work—moving from operator to architect, and from execution to multiplication.

Gerald’s entrepreneurial journey began long before 2020. Earlier in his career, he held executive leadership roles across entertainment, media, and business development,  helping grow and scale multiple high-profile ventures and partnerships, collectively generating more than $250 million annually at their peak. Those experiences shaped his ability to lead teams, negotiate at scale, and execute in complex environments—but today, his focus is firmly on ownership, operations, and legacy.

A father of three daughters, Gerald is driven not just by growth, but by purpose. His work is rooted in rebuilding, reinvesting, and creating enterprises that outlast trends and create opportunity for generations.
